How to create Password Protected Folder without Software in Windows OS

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT  to create Password Protected Folder :

So today i will show you how to create password protected folder.
many times we are searching for paid or free software which can protect our important data from being lost.
But here I’ll show you creating a folder which is password protected and I will not use any third party software, neither paid nor free. Here I have saved some lines of code that I will use to generate the password protection.

So this is code. You can see the underlined word, Locker- this is the folder name where I will keep some files and will put the password protection over it and the password that I set here is successperks, you can give any folder name and password as per your choice.
Also you can see some lines of code where it is written that if cho(choice is ‘Y’ means )- it is will lock the folder.
If your choice is ‘N’, folder will not get locked.
If you type something else instead of Y or N, it will prompt the message saying “invalid Choice”

Lets see the code for entering password. If password is not “successperks”, it will show the message “Invalid Password”, else the folder will be unlocked successfully. So the first step is to copy this code and paste it in a notepad file . Now i’ll save it with .BAT extension to make it as a Batch file.
Now I double click this batch file which will create a folder with the same name as mentioned in the code, that is “Locker”.I will put some files into it.
Now to lock this folder, I will open this batch file which will give the choice to enter Y or N. Here I have entered Y and pressed enter.
You can see the folder goes away from the screen where I have kept my data files
This is the protection which we have achieved using those lines of code. You can get that code from the video description.
Now to open the folder I will click again on this Batch file, which will ask me to enter the password.
So, to cross-verify whether the batch file is working properly, I will enter some incorrect password and pressing enter. You can see here it says Invalid Password , which means it is working properly.
Now I will enter the correct password that is “successperks” and pressed enter.
So our data folder comes back . So this is how we can create a password protected folder without using any third party software.

For better understanding,  we have added the few minutes video here.
